Our facilities are all formally accredited for testing to military and commercial standards pertinent to defence equipment including but not limited to MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-167-1A, MIL-HDBK-2036, RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-1474, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-462 and many others.
Austest is the only independent test house within Australia capable of providing the full range of EMC/EMI, Environmental, Mechanical, Pressure, Acoustic, Electrical and Telecommunication testing services at a single location.
Austest offers many unique defence-related capabilities such as SRS-based shock testing to BV043 or MIL-S-901D/E standards, extreme vibration testing (largest electrodynamic vibration facility in Aust.), ultra-low humidity testing, Xenon-arc solar radiation on large-scale samples and others.

Austest has chosen A2LA (the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation) as our accreditation provider, giving clients the widest possible global reach for acceptance of accredited reports. A2LA has accredited more than 2000 organisations and is a signatory to several multilateral mutual recognition arrangements including the International Laboratory.
